The official announcement shows 223 institutes all over Punjab including Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Qasoor, DG Khan, and all other districts of Punjab are now offering six months of free courses.

Citizens of Punjab, male and female, between the ages of fifteen and forty can be admitted to these short courses. All those interested in admission to these training courses are advised to contact their nearest professional training institutes during these months. We inform you that the admission process for the PVTC starts during the months of November and May. According to the academic courses, the semesters begin in January and July of each year. Authorized under the PVTC Act 1998 to hold examinations and issue certificates/diplomas on completion of training. The Punjab Vocational Training Board was established in October 1998 on the basis of public-private partnership by the government of Punjab. How long do TVET courses take?
Each level (from N1 to N6) is completed over a trimester (about 3 months) or over 6 months, depending on the programme. The knowledge and theory is completed over approximately 18 months, with a further 18 months for the practical workplace application.
